Website Audit

With web auditing, I'll look at how a website works across different screen sizes/devices. How well the site can be used and viewable on them. Then create a report of suggestions to improve upon the website. Also I'll run some Google tools to find ways to improve different aspect of your website. Page load speed (Performance) is one thing I'll focus on, since it is overlooked the most.

The image below is a graphic overview of two results (two different sites) from Google's lighthouse tool. The top portion of course is what you don't want to see. Typically I find sites are better with their Accessibility, Best Practices, and SEO than their Performance. The goal for all of them are of course to get them to green and 100, which isn't always feasible. Ideally around 90 for all areas would be a good goal. If a site is built on a CMS like WordPress, then you're already at a disadvantage across the four areas. Performance is the one that lags the most when built on a third party platform that tries to fit many needs. Let's take a look at your website and see what we can improve. Send me a message.

Google Audit Overviews

There are factors that make the result fluctuate with the lighthouse testing, so there might be slightly different numbers with each run.
