I’m a web developer and consultant with over 17 years of experience working for an ecommerce company, where I handled a wide range of IT responsibilities with a primary focus on researching, building, and maintaining our custom websites and backend database systems. Everything we built was developed in-house, giving me deep experience creating, tailored solutions from the ground up.

Over the years, I’ve worked extensively with APIs including Google, Amazon, payment processors, shipping carriers, tax services, and more. I designed and built custom systems such as a full product review platform that performed on par with leading third-party tools, along with automated video review requests triggered by positive customer feedback. I also developed customer account and order status pages that provided real-time access to data from our custom ordering system—giving users transparency and a better overall experience.

Now, I’m shifting my focus to improving how modern websites are built. Too many sites today struggle with performance and mobile usability. I’ve spent significant time researching and implementing techniques to reduce page load times and improve real-world speed, using tools and standards supported by Google and the broader web community. Mobile-first development is another core priority—something my previous company embraced years ago, long before it became mainstream.

At heart, I enjoy the challenge of solving problems and making systems work better. The ecommerce platform I supported was far from typical, often requiring creative solutions and advanced API integrations. Along the way, I’ve worked with a wide range of software, online services, and server environments. Continuous learning has always been part of the job—and something I genuinely enjoy.
